This
Storm is only a total repaint of the 6" figure from the X-men classics
series by Toybiz. Repainted her in silvery white ,which I believe was
Jim Lee's intention when illustrating her compared to White Queen's
plain white outfit as others thought. Even in the cartoons , the black
lines on her body signifies a chromy silver effect. I also enhanced the
details of the face , and corrected the legs , the zips of the boots
should be on the inner side.
We
got the latest Scott and Emma 6 inch figures from the Marvel Legends
Puck BAF series. Still they needed modifications. Cyclops's costume
details were just painted on , so here they were embissed and sculpted
and repainted in a more brilliant gold, also with an embossed X logo
from Bianchi's design. For Emma, I replaced her hairpiece with a longer
wavy one from her Marvel Select version, sculpted her belt thinner with
an x buckle, a fabric cape for mobility and balance. The face was
repainted in detail like putting make up on it.
The latest Marvel Legends has given us the best Jim Lee 90s Jean Grey figure so far. However, some things are still off with it for me. The face and hands were quite too big. Especially when placing her side by side with previous X-men Legends figures.
So I replaced her face with that of the X-men movie figure of Famke Jansenn, the actress who played Jean in the film. The proportion fits well, and its only suitable that I used her face giving the figure a more realistic detailed look. The face was also painted in high detail capturing the actress's as much as I can. I also replaced the hands with a smaller pair from the same movie figure.
